  • 1 min read

Musket Powder Gold Label

Neutral Oil

1 Pork Rib Rack
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2 cup Beer

  1. Bring a smoker to 225°F. Prepare a 50/50 mixture of apple cider vinegar and beer in a spray bottle and set aside.
Note: If you don’t have a smoker, you can preheat a gas grill to 225°F for this step.
  2. Wearing food-safe gloves, butcher the pork rib rack as needed. Cover the pork completely with a neutral oil followed by a heavy coating of Musket Powder Gold Label seasoning.
  3. Ensure the smoker or gas grill is maintaining a heat of 225°F.
Note: We add a water pan to the smoker to help stabilize the temperature.
  4. Add the pork rib rack to the smoker or gas grill on a sheet tray. Spray the pork with the apple cider vinegar and beer mixture intermittently during the cook, about 4-5 hours.
  5. Smoke the meat until the internal temperature hits between 190°F and 200°F. Remove the pork from the smoker or gas grill and rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Cut and serve, and enjoy!
